Hot weather in Arizona for August in itself is not that surprising but the humidity levels over the next few days will be. Often we see our storm chances rise with humidity but today and tomorrow our chances remain somewhat low, even though it will be very humid.

The National Weather Service continues to assess tornado damage in northwest North Dakota, but says initial reports show the storm may have had winds greater than 165 mph.

Weather Delays Tall Ships’ Arrival

Visit Duluth spokesman, Gene Shaw, says the arrival of the Tall Ships on Wednesday has been delayed by weather. Shaw said Tuesday night’s storm and high winds “caused most ships to seek shelter and wait out the storm.”
