Nicholas Holland learned that when he tried to fly from Washington to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., for a party. US Airways canceled his flight and rescheduled him with a connection through Cleveland.

Bad Weather Delays Oasis Of The Seas Arrival (CBS4 Miami)

Royal Caribbean officials announced that due to bad weather the world’s largest cruise ship – Oasis of the Seas – will dock at a Fort Lauderdale port two days later than scheduled. The cruise will arrive at Port Everglades on the morning of Friday, Nov. 13th.

South Florida weather: Scorching temperatures could break record today (Sun-Sentinel)

Today’s high temperature in Fort Lauderdale could pass 95 degrees, possibly breaking heat records, the National Weather Service said.
