PORTLAND The body of a Canadian climber who vanished when foul weather enveloped his party and then fell to his death remained Wednesday on Mount Hood as recovery teams turned back in the face of snow, wind and poor visibility.

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) — The pilot of a helicopter that crashed on a western Maryland freeway last week, killing all four aboard, had been warned about foul weather minutes before taking off, according to a preliminary report the National Transportation Safety Board released Friday.
