Weather service: Up to 7 tornadoes hit ND, Minn.

As many as seven tornadoes may have touched down Saturday evening in southeast North Dakota and western Minnesota, the National Weather Service said Sunday. No injuries were reported in any of the tornadoes.

Lightsoft has launched an update to its weather monitoring and analysis software, Weather Center 2.0. The app lets users track weather patterns, saving figures such as wind speed and high and low temperatures in a database. It can then generate webpages with current conditions, graphs and statistics
