The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Friday for virtually all of New Jersey. The weather service is predicting widespread showers and thunderstorms during the day and into Friday night as a cold front moves slowly through the area. It says thunderstorms could bring 1 to 2 inches of rain, with localized amounts up to 4 inches.
